Terms of service

1. The Service

Sentio is decision-support software for retail ES and NQ futures traders: structural models that scan the market and alert you, a model builder, a discipline-rules layer, a trade journal and analytics, and an AI assistant. The built-in models are example models: they are there to show how Sentio works, and you are encouraged to build your own. Sentio does not place, change or cancel orders and does not manage money. Nothing in Sentio is financial or investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything: models, alerts, sizes, grades and AI answers are information for you to weigh. Every trading decision, and its outcome, is yours. See the regulatory disclosure for the full scope of the Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for everything done under your account.
• An account is for one person; do not share it.
• Give us a real email address and keep it current; we use it for verification, sign-in codes and account notices.

3. Market data and your broker connection

• Real-time CME data reaches Sentio through your own market-data account (today, ProjectX / TopstepX). That subscription is between you and that provider, on their terms and prices; you must keep it active and stay within its rules, including any non-professional-use conditions of the exchange.
• The connection is read-only. With journal sync on, Sentio reads your trading accounts, fills and open positions to fill in your journal. It cannot trade.
• Without a connected account, Starter runs on a simulated market. Simulated data is not real market data, and nothing measured on it says anything about a model's edge.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or resell its output (for example as a paid signal service) without our written consent.
• Scrape, mass-download or programmatically extract data from the Service.
• Share, resell or redistribute market data received through the Service.
• Overload, disrupt or try to break into the Service, or get around its sign-in, limits or AI credit caps.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe, at the prices on the pricing page. Market data is billed separately by your data provider.
• You can cancel any time in Settings → Subscription. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then stops; you can take the cancellation back before then.
• No refunds. Charges already made are not refunded, including for a partly used period, except where the law requires it. By starting a paid plan you ask us to provide the Service straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right to withdraw once it has started.
• Price changes apply from your next billing period, with at least 14 days' notice of any increase.
• If a payment fails, paid features may pause until it is resolved; after 14 days the account may move to Starter.
• AI credits reset each month: on the 1st, your plan's allowance starts again and any credits left over, including credits bought as a top-up, do not carry into the new month. Credits are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refunded.

6. Alerts, AI and availability

Alerts, voice alerts, data feeds, broker sync and AI answers depend on third parties and on the internet, and can be delayed, fail or be wrong. AI output in particular can be mistaken, including answers about news and events. You stay responsible for every trade: check before you act, and do not rely on Sentio as your only source for a trading decision. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, built-in models, documentation and design, belongs to Sentio and its licensors. You get a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use it under these terms.

What you create in Sentio (custom models, discipline rules, journal entries, notes) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you.

8. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Trading futures carries substantial risk of loss. No model, setup, alert, replay or statistic shown by Sentio guarantees any result; replay results are simulated and can differ materially from real trading.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Sentio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, trading capital, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Ending your account

You can cancel your plan in Settings → Subscription and delete your account in Settings → Data & privacy at any time; deletion is immediate and removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Sections 7–9 continue to apply after your account ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect; using the Service after that date means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may also bring a claim there.
