The setup, drawn

Here's what 50 of 50 looks like on the chart.

A stylised sample of a fired 50 of 50 setup with the entry, stop, and target(s) marked. Every historical trigger in Sentio renders the same overlays at the exact bar it fired.

Structural checks

What has to be true for 50 of 50 to fire.

Every 50 of 50 setup runs through this checklist. If any required check is red, the setup stays in WATCHING — never gets promoted to ARMED or READY. When you review the setup in Sentio, each check shows green or grey so you can see exactly which conditions were true at trigger time.

  • 01 Impulse leg meets minimum ATR-qualifying range
  • 02 Raw-point floor cleared (tight-day filter)
  • 03 Retracement enters the 50% tolerance zone
  • 04 Retracement occurs within the max-age window
Parameters

Tune it to your own read.

Every parameter has a description and an interpretation note in the product. Change one, save, and the next scan tick uses the new value. Here are the ones traders adjust most.

impulse_lookback_bars
How far back to look for the qualifying peak-to-trough impulse. Larger = older setups qualify; smaller = only recent impulses.
impulse_atr_multiple
Impulse range must be at least this × ATR(20) at origin. Higher = only violent impulses; lower = quieter allowed through.
impulse_min_points
Raw-point floor on top of the ATR gate. Zero disables; higher rejects tight-range days that slipped the ATR test.
entry_tolerance_ticks
How many ticks either side of the 50% level. Higher = wider zone (fills more, sloppier); lower = strict entries.
retrace_max_age_bars
Bars from impulse extreme to retracement before expiry. Higher = patience for slow retraces; lower = only fast ones count.
Not advice

What 50 of 50 is — and isn't.

50 of 50 is a structural retracement detector. It does not predict whether the retracement will hold — that is your read on context and price action from the entry zone.
